We worked closely with collector and author Steve Woit on this 348-page art book. Created in two versions – standard and deluxe - the entire project was a pleasure from start to finish.
Our role included two initial exploratory design phases to establish “look and feel” design solutions and then preliminary and final production specifications as approaches were confirmed. It was an easy decision to work with the U.K. printer Pureprint Group, a collaboration that resulted in the highest quality books.
We created final design and production files in record time. Concurrent tasks included: refined layouts; text proofing; image selection, color correction and conversion to high-res CMYK files; online delivery for pre-press processes; and then proof reviews. And we were on press for five days in Uckfield, U.K., amazed by the attention to detail and the commitment to quality by the entire press team.
Design and Project Manager Jonathan Barkan was inspired to post this article on LinkedIn about our successful collaboration with the author.
