"A Scottish Rite Tribute to the Flag - Seven Ways of Looking at the Flag" was created to be shown at The National Heritage Museum in Lexington, MA and in wide distribution. Our discovery research was revealing and fun; the video was awarded a CINE Golden Eagle.

This short documentary introduces "Liza" whom we videotaped some 10 years earlier. It depicts the challenges faced by those with dyslexia but is, in fact, a success story. The video is one element of a menu-driven DVD that promotes membership in the Scottish Rite fraternity, sponsors of Learning Centers for Children with Dyslexia.

Dyslexia Learning Centers 10th Anniversary
(Excerpt)

We created numerous videos and annual reports for this principal charity of The Scottish Rite. This particular video celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Learning Centers program where state-of-the-art tutoring is available at no charge to anyone. It features original music by John Manchester and a mock classroom with child actors. We also produced a television psa with this material.

2002 Annual Report design for Scottish Rite.

Headquarters Construction Time-Lapse

We installed a time-lapse film camera on an adjacent tree to capture the year-long construction of the new headquarters in Lexington, MA. Great fun!

We planned and produced a concert at the Rite's National Heritage Museum in anticipation of a special millennium celebration. Our responsibilities included selecting and contracting with musical talent including the Boston Symphony Orchestra with Conductor James Orent, planning repertoire and an original commission by composer Kevin Kaska, scripting and post-production, and then coordinating simultaneous playback at many venues nationwide. Former CNN newscaster David Goodnow hosted the live event; Hollywood actor Norm Crosby narrated a humorous history. Five video cameras and symphonic audio were recorded in a broadcast truck.

A video excerpt is included in the "Early Work Video."
